NEW YORK (May 2, 2023) – Equalpride, the nation’s leading LGBTQ+-owned and operated media company, is proud to announce its partnership with Callen-Lorde Community Health Center for its upcoming Annual Rainbow Run, taking place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Hudson River Park. For those unable to join the in-person race, Callen-Lorde is also offering a virtual event that participants can complete from May 6 to May 14, 2023.
The leading provider of comprehensive health care and support services for New York's LGBTQ+ communities, the Callen-Lorde Rainbow Run is a spirited 5K or 10k run/walk that raises funds and awareness to support the organization's mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services to LGBTQ+ communities. Participants are encouraged to wear their most colorful and creative costumes, showing their pride and supporting the organization's work.
"We are thrilled to be hosting our 8th Annual Rainbow Run, and we're excited to expand the event to include a virtual option, allowing supporters from around the world to participate," said Callen-Lorde Senior Development Officer Donovan Stearns. "As we come together to celebrate and advocate for our LGBTQ+ communities, the funds raised from this event will directly impact the lives of those who rely on our health care and support services."
